Volek is still the starter, he just wants out or his stupid agent is feeding him all this BS, he hasnt lost the job yet and should stay to keep it...COMPETE or whatever....one last thing, a 1 year deal for $2 million isnt being paid to be a 3rd string player...thats kinda money like they expect him to be playing a lot...just a thought although i think Volek still should be given his chance

No doubt BV is gone- I agree. I like the guy, but don't feel bad. BV couldn't finish a drive on Denver or Atlanta's second string, much less their first. He got a few starts last year and didn't get it done then either. Honestly, he isn't a starter. I hope some other team thinks enough of his "Dinger" years and trades us something for him.

He will not get anymore reps and might even be outright released if another team doesn't give us a decent offer. Because we have little leverage in a trade we might get a mid to lower round pick because another team sees his worth as a backup. He has lost the job already. It is a done deal.
