it does seem weird. And although they lost, Preds look better this year. Carolina is a really good young team. I’m still not sold on Hines that’s the biggest story to me this year.
directtv and fox sports south in some kind of squabble about broadcasting the game. That could REALLY hurt the fan support. Fortunely, you can watch on the Fox Sports Go app still.
It’s been very frustrating. I had YouTube TV and they dropped FSSO and FSSE so I went to Hulu Live to watch the Braves and then they dropped it as well. My son has AT&T cable so able to use the app on Roku but it’s getting harder to see the Preds and Braves.

The Preds have had a tough schedule lately and have played well in stretches. They've got to play more consistently tho.
I don't know hockey well enough to know how much needs to be put on Hines or under-performing talent.

they really have. I think Tim Peel thing got everybody United in us v world.
they’ve picked up their forechecking which had created more turnovers and odd man rushes. Young guns like Tolvanen are taking shots, making plays. Even Johanssen has picked up his game. They are the hottest team in the NHL right now. They are really fun to watch.
Tolvanen has finally gotten confident. Kid is electric! If you want to get something out of matt duchenne(spelling error?), put him at center with Forsberg and tolvanen. If you can't get him going with those two, might as well cut him.
Saros is playing really well. I was wrong about him earlier. The young D in front of him are making great plays to block shots and keep shooting lanes closed. And they are super aggressive with their forechecking and sticks. Fun to watch. Have to give Hines and Poile credit also. The young talent is playing really well against lesser teams. Interested to see how return of Forsberg, Ellis, etc factors in. Glad to see Arvie and Grimaldi playing well with the young guys.
Forsberg put on injured list. Tolvanen hurt, and yet another defenseman down. Ridiculous injuries.

It’s always hard for me to tell how serious hockey injuries are because how they’re reported. I think Preds resting a lot of guys to showcase talent for possible trade scenarios. Either way our cupboard of young talent appears full.
I'm impressed with all the young guys. Poile has been ripped, but idk why. It's not his fault one of the best centers in the game just basically quit producing when he got here.
Another nail biting great game. Glad to see Joey get the game winner in the shootout.
I know few others here are interested in the Preds, but they are in a playoff race with Dallas, less so with Blackhawks. Really a great time to watch Nashville's hockey team right now. The young players are fun to watch, great speed and aggressive play.
Stars have 3 more games than we do and 1 heads up. Going to be tough to hang on to the point lead. I'm in DFW, so the trash talk is ramping up. Lol
