Zay flowers would be cool, i think we could trade back and get him still
Not making a comparison, but I wonder how the Chief fans felt when they traded up for Mahomes. Alex Smith was coming off a solid season and they made the playoffs. The following year Smith looked even better and probably made the Mahomes pick look bad. Looking at it now though, it doesn't look like they gave up a lot by today's standards.I could get behind Levis or Richardson at 11 but I'd hate to trade up for either of them.
Obviously Mahomes is a generational gem, and we are way more likely to draft a bust than a HOFer, but the situations between us and Chiefs at that point are pretty similar.
Mahomes had the college stats to make it worth a trade up. I'm sure Chief fans were very excited to have Mahomes as their QB of the future and never questioned it.Not making a comparison, but I wonder how the Chief fans felt when they traded up for Mahomes. Exactly… trying to compare Richardson to Mahomes coming out of college is a joke… Mahomes put up great numbers for 3 yrs while Richardson didn’t put up great numbers during his lone season as a starterMahomes had the college stats to make it worth a trade up. In no particular order, OL and WR.So what does the first 2 rounds look like if we only take from these prospects?
So what does the first 2 rounds look like if we only take from these prospects?
Imo at least 3 of these will be drafted by us. It's a game of mathematical elimination from there.
Who's comparing them?Exactly… trying to compare Richardson to Mahomes coming out of college is a joke… Mahomes put up great numbers for 3 yrs while Richardson didn’t put up great numbers during his lone season as a starter
Brittany Mahommes.Who's comparing them?
It's been reported we held a private meeting with Stroud back in March. Didn't make it clear if it was at his pro day or not, but I think that's the assumption. Not sure why Walter Football hasn't listed it, but it also says we've met with Daniel Wright and Darnell Wright from Tennessee when there is no Daniel Wright at tackle in this draft.
The fact that Stroud and Bryce are not on this list tells me we are not trading up to 3. (Unless this is wrong and we have met with them)update. 4/20

It will be OL, WR, or QB at 11.
I agree that a trade back is likely the best case scenario, but there may not be a good deal available

We still have 4 days approx to get WF's final list of visit, but as of right now I see:
Will Levis
Brod Jones
Anthony Richardson
Quentin Johnson
and I would even argue John Michael Schmitz has the potential to be a rd 1 pick.
The visits to do your own research on would be players like Paris Johnson, Peter Skoronski, CJ Stroud, JSN, that CB from Illinois,

Agreed lol, i'm literally just copying and pasting. It's not worth the time to spell check those guys.

There's nothing out there about Bryce, but I would be surprised if we didn't meet with him privately at his pro day as well.

Guard in the first, WR in the second
But who?Guard in the first, WR in the second

Ideally the guy from Northwestern in the first. He is the complete package. Played OT in college but projects as a guard in the pros. But who?
