Posluzny (if that's how it's spelled) is staying in school. I'd take Ernie Sims (LB) Florida State. I saw a write up on him in the Sporting News where one scout said they'd start a defense with him, largely because of his general dislike for the other team. The Titans need more guys like that.
I forgot about his Knee injury being a factor in his decision.

- MICHAEL BUSH (Louisville)… might not be the next "Big" thing, but he is most certainly the next "BIG" back… an extraordinary athlete with a rare combination of size, speed and vision… a former high school quarterback now carries a 250-pound frame with the dexterity of a player 50 pounds lighter… an absolute beast when it comes to tackling him, he's able to run through most defenders and has shown the balance to break free for long gains after initial contact… roughly 6020, 248-255 pounds… has been timed in the 4.50 range in the 40... playing in a passer-friendly offense, but may be inclined to return since he has a strong sense of team and leadership… has also been battling some late-season injuries…

1. Jason Allen
2. Max Gean Jiles
3. Any of the many tackles that are projected as 1st round picks that may slip.
4. Omar Jacobs (if we don't take Young)

He was listing who he would take in the 2nd rnd. It was a list of 1st-4th rnd choices.

Manny Lawson will not be available. He is going to be the Demarcus Ware of this draft. He will blow people away with his combine and be taken in the top half of the 1st rnd.

Who we take in the 2nd will be directly related to who we take in FA.

I agree, but Jason Allen is skeptical, he didn't play all year

Which is also the only reason he makes it out of the top 15 selections. The dude can play corner and safety. He led the entire SEC in tackles as a junior from the safety position on one of the best defenses in the nation. He is big and has 4.45 speed. His only question mark is the injury he had this year, but keep in mind that this is the first time he has been hurt.

LenDale White is set to declare today if i remember right

...but i don't think he'll last out of the first round, especially with a good combine showing...

Jason Allen could fall a lot farther than the second round. That hip injury was thought (maybe still is) to be career threatening. Omar Jacobs would be a good pick, as would Max Jean Giles or a tackle, though

We don't have a 3rd round pick either so that makes the 2nd round pick even more critical. I could see Reese trading down in the 2nd if he can ge an extra pick.

I badly want Vince Young to be our first rounder

Order of who I want in round two...

1. Laron Landry S LSU
2. Demeco Ryans OLB ALA
3. Bobby Carpenter OLB OSU
4. Jason Allen S TENN
5. Thomas Howard OLB UTEP (4.44 speed!!!)

I know some of those may not be there, but who would have thought Boss Bailey would have fell to the Lions in their third spot in the second round a couple years ago???

Certainly any on that list would be helpfull (except Allen who has health issues). We could easily have a shot a one of the real good OTs or a guy like Jiles.
The one postion change that wold help the most is to find a replacement for our DC.

Greenbay is making a statement that they plan on taking White with their 5th over-all pick... nothing solid, and I'm not sure how much legs that has, but interesting.

Career threatening ??? That is the first I've heard of that. I would like to see your source. If that's true, we should probably pass in the 2nd...

From what I've read about it, there was a small chance he might be able to return for the bowl game this year, which didn't really strike me as being in the category of "career threatening". Plus, he was still rated as a borderline 1st rounder by most sites after his injury. I doubt that would be true if it was indeed career threatening.

What I've read is Allen's had the ok to start his rehab. He won't be ready to run until UT's Pro Day, after the combine. Good thing UT has a fast track :winker:

We need a thumper in the middle and Abdul Hodge would be awsome to aquire. If he's gone, Tatsui Latui(however you spell it), would be a good one or Max-Gean and of course one of the top safeties.
