He seems like such an @$$. I appreciate that he's a good coach, but at the same time I don't like him at all. He never gives any information to the media at all in his press conferences and is always on the defensive. His way of coaching the offense is not sustainable. Of course when you have a weapon like Henry, you use it. But our leading receiver yesterday had 38 yards. We have to be more diverse on offense. They're boring right now and it's hard to watch.
Vrabel doesn't seem too concerned
You’d think but Tanny has been known to throw a pick or three. I’m not saying I like the approach but that I understand the approach.
This pretty much sums up the conclusion I came to.
It's all on the coaching. They clearly make zero adjustments.I blame coaching

Maybe they make too many adjustments. If you don't punt in the first half and score on every possession, what do you change?
Ever wonder if Kelly is calling one half, and Downing is calling the other?
tv showed vrables record... 43-26 now... and he inherited a smoldering dumpster... was on fire when mularkey took over.
Roster was a dumpster fire on top of a gas leak pre robinson. Why him being above average somethimes feels so amazing.
Titans were so bad for a decade
Robinson took over the worst team in the NFL and made them perennial winners. And he's supposedly a bad GM lol.
In the 3 games where we've led at half time, the team has targeted its wide receivers 27 times in the first half, and only 14 times in the second half.
4 of those second half targets came against the Giants on the only drive where we scored in the second half, and 3 came on the drive to get us into FG range in the same game.
This just speaks to the lack of aggressiveness in play calling and mentality of the team overall in the second half. We're obviously not doing the same things we're doing in the first half that are working. The first half of games we're getting our playmaking WR's involved, and we're scoring points. The second half we're trying to pound up the middle, throwing to our TE's and backs only, shrinking the field, and letting the other teams defense dictate what we do.
The OL is not nearly good enough for us to establish a grinding run game, but that seems to be all this coaching staff knows to do when they have the lead after the first half.

lets be honest about all the scrub gms titans had between Reese & Robinson... there could have been open polls on GoTitans and WE would have been better than any of them
thing is most of the early moves robinson made were just straight common sense that most anyone would have done... but fishface/reinfelt/The Lorax/ALL put their personal connections above winning.
Robinson is not elite but he is good which seems amazing compared to the incompetency of every GM after Reese

He will never be elite if he keeps whiffing on early draft picks. You just have to get some production out of those guys....I'm not saying that you have to draft pro-bowlers with all your early picks but you just ham string the team from a depth standpoint and a cap stand point.

Both of them

Jeff Simmons is good
Jeff Simmons is good
Yes, Simmons is a beast. But how about Jack Conklin? Kevin Dodd? Austin Johnson? All drafted in rounds 1-2 in 2016. Or Corey Davis? Adoree Jackson? Taywan Taylor? Jonnu Smith? Jayon Brown? 2017 rounds 1-5. What contributions did we get yesterday from Rashaan Evans or Dane Cruikshank, both drafted in 2018 - just four seasons ago? How did Isaiah Wilson look on the field yesterday? Or Darrynton Evans? Larrell Muchison?
The depth issues that we're seeing this season are the consequence of either whiffing on so many draft picks or not signing them to second contracts. We are developing young players and then watching go be stars on opposing teams, or drafting scrubs who are no longer in the league, all while paying our mediocre QB $100 million dollars. Jon Robinson has been serviceable at best.

That's it, we must demand a GM who never misses on a pick in the in the first 3 rounds
I have no doubt fishface & The Lorax were GMing alsoBoth of them

to be fair you need to be drafting guys that can play with a top 100 pick. There should be film. A GM should be able to project that into their system. The players talent should not be a mysteryThat's it, we must demand a GM who never misses on a pick in the in the first 3 rounds
Taking chances with a late rounder is more acceptable because getting a Finnegan is a bonus
Taking chances with early rounders is less acceptable.
taking a slow ass sankey round 2 is just bad... as a for instance.

That's why Fishface made Budd get rid of Floyd,
And the Lorax is the one who hired Malarkey -- aka coach BS

I think people overestimate the success rate of picks in the top 3 rounds
I mean they should make the roster and contribute
they might not be All Pro
they might not be All Pro
9 play, 75 yard drive ending in a 23 yard TD pass To Hilliard against the Giants. How did we get the 7?
