That clip is really interesting. Look how young Bush looks then compared to now.
I remember watching that live and liking what he said. I remembered him saying all that while we were nation building Irag and getting pissed about it.
But now that I think about it more, I think he really believed what he was saying at the time. He said it before the attacks on 9/11. I think that day changed him, you can argue for better or worse.
I believe some people go into office with certain ideas, then world events and the info the president is privy to changes their view of the world.
I'm sure in the future we will look back at clips of what Obama said during this campaign and see how he did a 180 during his presidency, just like Bush. Just like all the other presidents too, for that matter...
I think we all deserve better than "just like the others".
There have been to many of those already. All I know is that I am young (at least i think so) and I am already fed up with 95% of the political class in your side of the pond and in mine.
