Their D looks really good, and of course their O. I think our O can stay within range of Mahomes if we get some good D. We have a long way to go there.
YES i know yhis is way way looking ahead, but you wonder just who is capable of beating them....

The Chiefs are going to have a shot at a Super Bowl every year Mahomes laces them up.
Why can't these generational QBs play in the NFC?

Honestly, it would take a combination of our A game and them self destructing to win. Sort of like the Ravens game last year. Difference is, the chiefs can come back from anything in a blink, Ravens can't.
Titans haven’t changed too much from last year and they were every bit as competitive with KC.
They’re tough, no question, but the titans are good enough to beat them. Zero reason to “fear” them but every reason to know they are a good team.
Tennessee still has to take control and win their division before focusing attention to KC specifically. There are other good teams too, Pitt is next week and should be considered a top AFC team.

RekktEveryone is always looking for a good D to help their O
Get an unstoppable run game and it simply becomes a “last possession” game whereby ANY team can be beat.
Helps to have a good D but an unstoppable run game is the “Great Equalizer” in football.

The way our defense is performing, Mississippi St. Would put up 500 yards and 6 TDs against us.
First how bout we worry about the teams on our schedule. Second the chiefs offense could score 70 points with the way our defense is currently playing.

I disagree. We are really missing the veteran leadership on defense now with Casey, Ryan and Woodyard gone. It’s obvious we’ve got a lot of freelancing happening out there and adjustments aren’t being made. We need a defensive coordinator like yesterday.
We need AJ25 back for sure. Daquan Jones needs to show up too.I disagree. We are really missing the veteran leadership on defense now with Casey, Ryan and Woodyard gone. I think another game or 2 and Beasley will be more of a nuisance along with clowney.
I think just about every team across the league has been sloppy the first couple weeks and will start to improve based on talent levels.
Of the 3 you listed, I think woodyard is the biggest loss in the leadership dept.

yes- but the Ravens and Pats didn't. My point is we can be in any game if we can establish the run and/or make it effective.

I had high hopes that Rashaan Evans would step up in leadership. Then I heard him speak in a post game interview.

Oh sorry, for a second i thought i was just a fan. Please don’t tell coach i was looking ahead...
I get your point, but KC improved their RB and defense pretty substantially. We are basically the same team as last year.Titans haven’t changed too much from last year and they were every bit as competitive with KC.

The way Mahommes is getting smacked around and scrambling- he'll be lucky to make it to postseason.
Sucks, but his style just doesn't usually have much longevity.

I’m not sold the RB is better, the offense is so good all around, hard to tell and he’s only got 3 games to look at,I get your point, but KC improved their RB and defense pretty substantially. We are basically the same team as last year.
Their D certainly played Baltimore better (maybe using our tape).
I think the titans also upgraded defensively, at least on paper. Injuries need to heal and some time to get so e rhythm after no preseason may be why we haven’t seen it yet.

Mahommes was also picking on ex teammate. He knew all his tendencies.
I do believe Baltimore/Lamar is figured out though.
But then again- they had every chance to be within a score and kept killing themselves.
No doubt KC is a really good team. That TO battle can’t go the wrong way.Mahommes was also picking on ex teammate. He knew all his tendencies.
