Maybe going forward, the media should disclose this information until it’s confirmed positive? Or only after the false positives get debunked?

This entire thing has been a sham from day one. All fear, very little facts. Have any players been overly sick? The only athlete I know who actually had harsh symptoms is probably going to win the national league mvp. So glad the colts get to skip practice and get worse lol.

Across the league there are a LOT of false positives. Kind of makes me wonder about the rest of the population.

My grandmother has been dead since '05 and she would test positive with these tests.

The league is conducting thousands of tests a day, and we’ve heard about 6 or 7 false positives total so far. I wouldn’t call that “lots”. And apparently some of been user error on the part of the people administering the tests.

I’m sure the NFL with billions of dollars on the table Didn’t hire the safest/best testing teams around. So Im sure the handling procedures being a problem for them, probably isn’t a problem for anyone else across the country.

But yes media in general is hot garbage who don’t care about being right they just care about being first.

They’ve mastered the art of first impressions. They know that most people won’t change their minds once all the information comes out.

Media is a business. And the days of "get it first but first get it right" has taken a back seat to advertising money, views and ratings. BBC is about the only media outlet worth a chit these days. the other media outlets are just variants of wacky reality TV.

All 77 false-positive COVID-19 tests come back negative upon reruns

I thought that “6 or 7” seemed low.
This was a couple weeks before the season started with 77 falses.

I'm sorry for your loss, but that doesn't mean I'm ignorant to what the virus is. It's a virus that is deadly to certain populations. It is not something to shut down the world over. I do know people who have it and 2 that died. So don't say shit you don't know.
