that could mean anything.

I doubt a GM would tell anything to anyone outside the organisation in the hopes it won't get out to the media.

Really, they got the first pick no need to keep it secret. They should be talking everybody up if they want even the possibility of a trade for the #1.

McNair got hurt really because he would drop his shoulder rather than slide. Alot of his injuries came because he held the ball too long in the pocket waiting for something to develop that didn't. I think both of these things can be mentored.

When McNair was running, he was hurting other people. I think most of injures came from the O-Line not protecting him enough. Sometimes he held the ball too long but a lot of times he didn't even have time to to get the ball before someone was on him.

Just look at Volek he also suffered quite a bit of injuries. Same scenario, O-line giving up way too many sacks.

Just my two cents

Lets just thank god Texas won. That leaves us with Bush, Leinhart, or Young. Not too shabby to be number 3 now. Franchise player coming up.

McNair got hurt from running the ball. Remember the hit to his sternum in the KC game, remember the hit out of bounds into the other teams equipment locker. He gets hurt a lot more running the ball than he does getting sacked

Volek is just fragile
