My 9 year old son finally gave in this year and started watching football for the first time without complaining why I watch all day long. Now he’s already obsessed with football - thankfully he picked the Lions as his team to follow when the season first started and NOT the Titans.
He would have given up on football the moment he got into it.
Lions have shown they have a direction. They have leadership. They have an identity - blue collar football. They have certain players they want to fit that identity - winning through the draft. The Titans have none of that. No direction, no heart, no leadership - lack of quality draft moves.
Doesn’t hurt that the Lions have drafted very, very well over the past handful years as well.

This is why a sort of support my wife as a Vikings fan. Literally this year after 22 years married, she wanted to follow the Vikings because purple (thank god she didn’t test the Ratbirds, I’d be divorced).
But she’s doing homework and bringing up guys past the casual big names and following injuries. It’s great.

Agree...if you want to break people into the NFL, do NOT push them to follow the Titans right now. They make die hard fans think hard about their love for the NFL LOL...
