I guess the fear of taking a hit when he dropped that one pass made him tense up so much it probably strained his neck and back beyond repair!

Disappointing signing. I can't remember him playing a stretch longer than about 4 games. Even when he does play, hasn't earned that paycheck.
Hope he gets healthy but I really don't count on him ever suiting up. Go Brown, CD, and Firkser.

Maybe he'll retire and we can keep CD around.
He has to know he cant physically do it. If he doesnt retire, I will lose all respect for him. I am the type of guy that If I cant do my job, I am not going to take your money. If he takes the money, knowing he cant do the job, that makes him a piece of shit in my book.

If we cut him we save 4.75 against the cap next year. If he retires, I wonder what that number would be?

The team has the option to try and re-coup some of the unpaid guaranteed money left on the contract....otherwise it hits the cap just as if he had been cut.

I guess your job isn't making solid takes about football.

True he’s probably the only one that turned out decent. Before AJ Brown, and now CD is having a big season I was beginning to wonder if the WR position was cursed.

We got good value out of Rishard Matthews and Justin Gage, clearly not great but I guess it's telling they are some of the only examples for not complete failure.

Bummer for humph. What's also frustrating was the original concussion was that no call that likely cost us the Bengals game iirc.

On the plus side this is maybe the deepest the titans have ever been as far as pass catchers go, so it shouldn't be a huge hit.

I forgot about Gage 07-08 we’re good years for him the other two he didn’t do much, Matthews was good until all of that drama happened. Atleast they got production out of Gage and Matthews. I was talking about Yancey Thigpen if he counts, David Givens, Randy Moss just to name a few.
