The irony would be dripping if after going through all the trouble of beating Denver and KC to drop a game to the Jags who just fired their coach snd OC. I can't see this team doing that. Take care of business and they will be rewarded with the final game.
Sadly it would be a Titan thing to do. Like losing to the winless colts.
Playing with the playoff machine.
It's hard to see a scenario where it doesn't come down to the Titans vs Texans after the Texans winning today. Let's say we dropped the Jags or Texans game.
-The Dolphins would have to lose to Buffalo and the Patriots
-Ravens would have to lose to the Steelers and Bengals.
At that point, we would get the 6th seed and play in Pittsburgh at 9-7.
I'm down for winning out, the Chiefs losing our and the Dolphins winning out. Bring on the Dolphins again instead of having to face the Chiefs and let's see what happens.

More than that would have to happen. If you're using the ESPN playoff machine, it has some tiebreakers that aren't set correctly (notably ones involving numerous teams from 3 or more divisions).Playing with the playoff machine.

If we finish 9-7 and Houston finishes 10-6, then we would need:
2 losses by miami
2 losses by Baltimore
2 losses by denver
1 loss by indy
We are still alive for the #2 seed, and we need as much help to get #6 as we do to get the #2. Hahaha

We are no longer eligible for the #2 seed after Oaktown beat San Dimas last night. They are 11-3, NE is 12-2, best we can get is 10-6 and potentially the #3 seed.
