With Pennington, Ramsey, Bollinger, and Clements the Jets may be looking to unload a QB. Bollinger would not be terrible especially as a #3 who might come in in the first half of the season if Volek were to go down. Much better then the Collins option anyways.

this story is garbage. no way he's won the job yet. and even if he had in the coaches minds, no way they announce it. this guy is a cripple, and there is no way the coaches are gonna let the world know pennigton is the guy until he gets a few games (preseason) under his belt at the very least.
