We were 11 and 5....lost by 6 points to Baltimore, you think we couldn't beat Baltimore with Brady? If we get past Baltimore....can you say for certain we don't get to the super bowl?
If we were out of the playoffs 3 and 13....with a bad defense then yes....however we were division winners.

Dude, what?

That was the Wild Card round. And it was against a one dimensional offense. You think our defense would’ve held the Chiefs to 9 points?

Who said anything about 9 points....we couldn't beat the Chiefs scoring 38 points on them? You're making up shorelines....can't predict how the game plays out.
But thats not the argument here....Brady at 42 is significantly better than Tannehill....so signing Tannehill over Brady was the wrong call....regardless if we win the super bowl or lose to KC in the playoffs.

How the fuck is Tom Brady significantly better then Tannehill?

We would’ve been a worse offense with geriatric Brady and without the Bucs o-line and stacked receiving core.

You’re saying that we couldn’t beat the Chiefs by scoring 38 with Tannehill? After we had the 3rd best offense in the league this year? You’re making up stat lines.

Yeah because our o-line and WR’s are so terrible...you are clueless if you think Tannehill is even in the same area code as Brady.

Brady made it look easy, but his O-Line did a great job protecting him, he has a ton of playmakers and the TB defense was amazing tonight. Add to it Mahomes was on his heels most of the night. The best TEAM won tonight. Props to Succup for his part. The Titans have a LOOOONNNNGGGG way to go to have a defense like that. If the Titans had this defense they could beat anybody, even on a bad night.

Keeping the Chiefs out of the end zone tells you everything you need to know. Tampa played a “complete” game. Brady’s main contribution to Tampa was excellent leadership. He led this team to the big game and every aspect of the team responded with excellent play.

These arguments get really stupid.
QB alone doesn't make the SB winners. There is a team required.

I don't see any arguments that TB12 isn't the Goat (especially now) but just having him doesn't mean SB winners (note, there actually are years that he didn't win).

The hindsight convos make it worse. Go back to preseason 20' and see how people talked about Brady. IF he was actually available/possibly coming to the Titans, it was on a known risk that he's 4 f'n 3. At some point he will diminish. I expected it to start showing this year, maybe next year who knows but at 43, that's a tough gamble to accept mortgaging your team's potential that it doesn't happen this year.
TB made the gamble (granted needed to replace Winston where as we would have had to replace THill) and with their D (you better acknowledge them) and the offensive weapons, WITH a TB12 that didn't slow down like some expected, and they are SB contenders, eventually the winners.

It's just not nearly as easy as TB12 for THill.

Former backup Titan OL Stinne just got him a ring. Also, this game was a prime example of how you de-fang that Chiefs offense with consistent pressure.
