I bought some packing peanuts from Office depot one day...large bag almost $30. ouch. lasted three boxes. I need to pack about six or seven more small boxes.

I found a place that sells used and overstocked packing supplies. I saw a small bag of peanuts in the showroom. "Do you have large bags?" I ask.
"Sure!"
"How much?"
"$16"
"Hey!" I say. "Sounds great! I'll take two!"

Hey Avvie, if you pack alot of boxes sheet metal shops discard a good bit of scrap insulation that can be cut up and used for packing material. It's really not as bad as you might think (for the fiberglass) It's coated on one side. You could get a bag as big as you are 100% free of cost if you just find out where light gage sheet metal duct is being produced in your area. (mechanical contractor or local full service heating and air company)

You will never have to worry about nutsacks again.:ha:

I got waaaaayyyy more than i asked for. :ha:
I paid the guy, he said "I'll meet you at the car with 'em..."
It looked like the Hindenburg had landed....
