It’s a sign of the end of times……or at least the end of the season.
All of that is true, Tannehill did do enough to mostly get the job done last regular season... but there was a decline in his overall play... he was "off" all last season. Instead of hitting receivers in stride like he had done the 2 previous season, the majority of his balls were being thrown high and behind. They were still catchable, but that YAC took a major hit, then those throws turned into picks when it mattered.
Another thing he did the 2 "good" seasons was get rid of the ball. Ya'll may remember all the talk about Mariota and comparing him to Brady who (at the time) was averaging like 2.23 seconds to throw the ball. Tannehill came in and was right around Brady's number. Last season and this season he is holding the ball way too long. Of course I know that are receivers are wanting and Downing isnt doing him any favor with his routes, but you still have to get rid of the ball otherwise you are limping off the field and done for the season.

Dobbs is a good field general. I'm excited to watch him get an opportunity.
