Which is why I always told people Casey was never elite. That's not a knock on Casey, it's just the truth. He was a good player. Probably a very good player. He never took over games though. He was not a game wrecker.

Jeffe Grande is different and it's obvious.
Jeffe Grande is a good one

I loved the pick when we made it. Dude was a projected top 5 that fell all the way to us due to injury. Guy has been a monster since college. He is simply way more disruptive than Casey ever was or will be. No knock on Casey, because he gave us plenty of good years, but like Fry said, he just wasn’t “elite”.

Casey should have frankly have been what Jones is now

Since Ryan Tannehill took over the starting job the Titans are one of the best teams in the NFL.

Most Wins in the NFL - Since Week 7, 2019
(Regular and postseason)

W-L
Chiefs 14-2
Ravens 12-2
Packers 12-3
Titans 12-4
49ers 12-5

Lowest sack % on plays with pressure:

1. Patrick Mahomes - 4.8%
2. Aaron Rodgers - 8.3
3. Ryan Tannehill - 10.0
4. Justin Herbert - 11.4

per pff

Ryan Tannehill has 6 red zone TD passes & a 99.0 QBR in the red zone. #Titans offense is scoring TDs on 72.7% (5th most) of their red zone visits. Opposing offenses are scoring TDs on 60% of their visits inside the 20 vs. #Bills who rank 15th in that category.

#Titans ' @KingHenry_2 can tonight become first NFL player since O.J. Simpson (1975) to record at least 25 carries in 1st 4 games of a season.

According to the NFL, the Titans became the first team to score a touchdown on every red zone possession (minimum 6 red zone drives), have zero turnovers, and allow no sacks since the Patriots defeated the Bills, 56-10, in Week 11 of their undefeated 2007 season.

That’s a strange stat line.
I can only imagine how many games wouldn’t qualify for comparison with the “min 6 RZ drives” piece.
Most games don’t have a team with 6 RZ tries.

Some Tannehill nuggets:

Ryan Tannehill turned in the highest single-game QBR (97.1) for a Titans quarterback since ESPN created that metric back in 2006. That brings his season-long QBR to 82.9, good for 4th best in the NFL in 2020 behind Rodgers, Mahomes, and Allen.

The Titans had given up 17 sacks by this time last year and gave up at least 3 sacks in 10 of 16 regular season games

QB Ryan Tannehill & @Packers QB Brett Favre are the only players in the last 30 seasons to complete 100% of their passes in the red zone, throw 3+ red zone TDs & rush for a red zone TD in a game.

per MHerdon/WSelva

28 teams have allowed at least 13 third down conversions in a single game since 1970. The Titans became just the 3rd team to win while giving up that many conversions and the only team to win by more than 4.

per MHerdon

-AJ Brown played 47 snaps (71%) in his return
-Westbrook played 2nd-most (68%) among the 4 WRs
-Lewan played 67%. Left the game due to a shoulder injury before returning in 2nd half
-RBs: Henry=34 snaps, McNichols=26

-Landry played 69 of 72 snaps. He’s played 96% of all defensive snaps thru 1st 4 games
-DaQuan Jones played 38 snaps (53%) after being activated off COVID-19/reserve on Sunday
-Chris Jackson played 74% with Fulton out
