Titans Talk - Home for all things Tennessee Titans

Sorry we’re getting off favorite titans, but pretty amazing to think baseball was already 100 years old when some of the greatest players, specialties almost, were all around together.
Ryan and heat/strikeouts
Henderson will never lose his SB records
Pete rose was a hit machine, probably also safe for history
Tony Gwynn, probably the best contact player ever. Just could not strike that dude out.
I’d put Boggs in there with Gwynn. Impossible outs without ball in play. Griffy Jr. was unbelievable.

Chad "ocho Cinco" Johnson. The antics and TD celebrations were fun made the NFL entertaining, before the No Fun League showed up and ruined the party. As for the Titans probably CJ2K, was fun watching him rip 80+ yard tds on the daily.

CJ ran for half a yard too much! Was incredible in a bit of space though. Inability to gain positive yds consistently hurt us more than the big bang plays imo. However, when the Ratbirds broke his leg… man he was gashing em!

crisjohnson was a passing game disguised as a running game

if the little guy did not see a hole he turtled for a loss
Well Henry had a problem with going down easy if defenders grazed his lower leg and ankle before hitting the line of scrimmage, but he was still fun to watch.

Ricky will be remembered by most for stealing bases, but his lead off home run record will never be broken either.
Saw some breakdown on the most impactful players in history, and Ricky was off the charts for the W’s he produced in any sport. Have to find that. With todays game and the juice ball, his record for lead dings can be challenged. Betts comes to mind
