Titans Talk - Home for all things Tennessee Titans

Looking at the Titans schedule, the NFL couldn't had made it any easier for us to get on a roll and make some noise. Sure it sucks we were one of two teams that started with 2 straight road games that happened to be season openers for them but we came out of it 1-1. We can all agree that we should of been 2-0 but sh*t happens. Our season opener comes and we drop a division game to a banged up Colts team that we certainly could of won without a doubt. That was suppose to be the turning of the division Then the bye week comes and depending on who you talk to will say it came to early but I'm looking at it from a different perspective. It gave us a chance to get some people back from injury but more importantly it gave us time to regroup as team before the "oh sh*t, here we go again " factor kicked in.

You figure 1-2 sucks but we got 3 more at home against winnable teams so there is plenty of time to get things back on track. Again we face another banged up team in Buffalo and lose by 1 in demoralizing fashion. At 1-3 the wheels are starting to shake and the chirping is starting in the locker room. Miami comes to town and is considered one of the worst teams in the NFL. Depending on how you looked at it seemed like the perfect rebound game. A game this team and fan base desperately needed and Miami comes into our backyard and blows us out. How Whiz lets a rookie coach come in and out coach him in every aspect of the game is embarrassing, especially at home. Complete mind f*ck how this team operates. Now you got a pissed off Atlanta team coming in and playing a team that is on the verge of imploding. So the home stand essentially was pointless. If anything it just reassured our fans and the NFL this team isn't ready no matter how much we try and help.

You know, I look at this poll question and I find myself saying "I just don't even give a ****."

That's the state of the franchise. All fans are apathetic... and they should be.

Poor Dick LeBeau is probably going to keel over on the sidelines. Not many can endure the wrath of Webster and Whisenc*nt. I know I can't for much longer.

And if those two useless chodes are still here come next season, I may not go to a game until they're gone.

I want to hear "Fire Whiz" chants this Sunday. He's earned it.

I think we would take the Jags if the team that played games 1-4 showed up. But we aren't beating anybody home or away if the team that showed up yesterday is what we get.

And I'm predicting it will be just like last year. We played lights out the first couple of games, then quit and then blamed it on injuries. That seems to be Whiz's MO.
We won one of those, what makes you think that team would win? The Jags are a lot better than the Bucs.
