I will be very surprised if Woodside doesn’t make the final roster and Kinsey does. I don’t think either quarterback is worth having on the team as the next man up. I think Kinsey is a super hard worker and would love to have him on board but…not gonna be surprised to see if just miss the cut.
 
With 9 guys on the Covid list right now (8 for close contact), I have to wonder if they might be gaming the system a little bit right as roster cut down day arrives.

I thought vaccinated players didn’t have to go on Covid reserve for close contact?

Oh absolutely. Players on the Covid list don’t count towards the 53. If he keeps guys on that list he can hold onto extra players until other teams have made their cuts and he can see who else is out there. Heck, he could leave them there until other teams make their practice squads, sheltering a few players on our initial 53 before moving them to our practice squad. Just a couple days protecting 58 while everyone else goes to 53 is hugely advantageous.
