Yeah, but if you go to Ruth's Chris for steak and get a Wester Sizzzlin' steak with a bunch of crap on top, you'd probably be pretty pissed...
I never said it did.
But it stands out for being R-rated and highly, graphically violent and crass.
ShowMe quoted me. Then you quoted his reply to me and said the only reason "you guys" liked it. Clearly you were lumping me in there so don't give me that crap.
I already explained why I liked the movie. Obviously you have more insight into my opinion than I do though.
For the record, I never said the movie WASN'T crass. I said there were other reasons I liked the movie. The movie could've been every bit as crass and still managed not to work at all. But this movie did (again for me). So to sit there and tell people crassness is the "only" reason they liked the movie is ignorant, and quite frankly a dick move. Get off your damn high horse.

Strip club and Ryan Reynolds a couple of times.
I noticed the Ryan Reynolds wang. It was a dark scene though so you couldn't really see much. I think my wife was disappointed because she heard you got to see his penis in this.
I saw Deadpool yesterday too... Probably never would've seen it if it weren't for some friends wanting to go.
Overall, I enjoyed it... And to those complaining about it being too "crass"... Uhh, did you not expect that going in? Lol... Yea, it's not for old people. Grandparents everywhere would be appalled by it.
Only wtf part for me was...
Biggest downside to me was that it got very repetitive at times and needed more TJ Miller. I thought he was going to play a bigger role.

Just got back from Deadpool. Enjoyed the movie but really question the long game for the character, he started to wear me out a bit towards the end with his personality. He'll get a sequel but hopefully after that we see him in small doses.
Really, if I had a main complaint, it would be the trailers kinda left the main jokes fall flat for me. I also wanted more Miller. Overall, a really entertaining movie that I probably will see again sometime. Refreshing.
