The Titans should treat former players the way I treat former boyfriends.....remember that you got rid of them for a reason.

Keith considers him a lost "soldier" but I don't remember his time with the Titans.

They got rid of him because they didn't want to pay him what he wanted. The question is, has that changed?

That's just preposterous. In today's NFL, teams part ways with players they would love to keep but just can't afford to. If you recall, Robaire was the first to go in the post championship game fire sale. That was one heckuva D, cut down over salary maturation issues. It wasn't long ago when the Titans used to eat The Colts for Sunday lunch twice a year.. I know I'd like to see a piece of that come back- no doubt..

In other words, he left us for another....

I think the boyfriend thing does not work for the nfl, specially after the salary cap era.

Yeah, but if your "go to" girl is good to you, you'll take her to a movie every now and then.

Robaire would add A LOT to the D-line. I don't know if he took plays off, but in a rotation (which he would be), he'd be fine. He definitely is a 'hole-plugging" beast.

I was always under the impression that Robaire left because of the cap issues/not being able to afford him and not because of his performance on the field. I would like to see him come back.

You guys, be nice, quit ganging up on Elf girl !!

Now Elf girl, in this situation, you're wrong...RS is a guy we need, and it seems like he still loves us too.

Dude "too slow" was not the issue. The Saints had a higher waiver priority than us so they were able to take him over us as well as Haynes.

Exactly. We put a claim in on somebody else and also got the shutout.

You guys must miss your exes! I stand by my statement. Teams make moves to keep guys that they really want. Besides, the Titans have a history of letting D-linemen go.

If robaire does return and makes the defense better then I'll admit my mistake....maybe.

Texans fans have little to say either way, and think the cut was used just to clear room for Ron Dayne. I'm in. Let's see what he has left in the tank.

Nah you don't understand. There wasn't a viable way to keep him that year. He wanted a lot of money (which he deserved FYI), and we had to kill ourselves with the salary cap anyway just to fit. You must have either forgotten or just neva been here when you saw how distraught a lot of fans were when we lost Smith (and you can see the results of our defense after he left -- I ain't screaming causation, but there's definately correlation).

How you gonna compare relationship? This is just business, nothing personal. Yeah, we let him go for a reason, but that reason was money, not because he wasn't a very good player on a championship caliber defense. So you're lil anticdote ain't working here girl.
