There's nothing wrong with those kind of moves every now and then. Every team does them, sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't. The key is to mix that with actually going after proven talent, and hitting on your higher end draft picks. Let this man have a draft or two first.
If we went out for Orlando Brown and over paid, people would be screaming that we have way too many other holes to fill, or wasted all that money when trying to actually rebuild this roster.
I'm not saying I love the move, but I'm willing to give this guy more than a day of FA to decide whether I like him or not.

I remember reading articles about how the Titans 2019 class was one of the best in modern history. We've already lost three of them (not counting Walker who was irrelevant) and Simmons is an unknown.
This was a class you could build around for a decade and we threw it away.

The game day experience was crap when I used to go. All you had was the Titans.
I had more fun at minor league baseball games than I did Titans games most of the time
Long and Davis get pennies from other teams and move on. Simmons extension pushed until other big name DTs reset the market. What a fucken mess so far.
