soooo ....

rogers NOT coming to Tennessee like the rumors said?

say it aint so

LOL
Don't worry, there's still the rumors of Trey Lance, Lamar Jackson and every other QB in the NFL to the Titans. After they trade Derrick Henry to the eagles, if course.

Crazy thing is, they’re all true.
Titans about to roll with Lance, LJ, Stroud, Young, Richardson, and Levis with zero draft picks until 2034.

So 2020 he had a lot of TDs, but less yards than top 10 average..lol

Just means he got a bunch of short yardage TDs

If Henry got 30 TDs and 1100 yards is that mvp worthy? @Carp
Here’s the RB part.
Top 10 since 2018 (BDH first year as feature back)
did not include any QB in the figures.

2022 - 1292 y/ 11.8 TD
BDH - 1538/ 13

2021 - 1150/ 11.8
BDH - 937/ 10 (projected - 1770/ 19)

2020 - 1209/ 12.3
BDH - 2027/ 17

2019 - 1267/ 11.8
BDH - 1540/ 16

2018 - 1154/ 11.2
BDH - 1059/ 12

I’d make the argument that BDH killing it 2020 was very similar to Jonathan Taylor in 2021.
Henry had 800 more than top 10 avg and a 450 lead on #2 yards but only 1 more TD(5 over avg)
Taylor in 21 had 700 over avg, 550 over #2, 3 more TD (6 over avg)

The difference was Indy didn’t make playoffs so hard to argue how “valuable” he was.
I think some added attention was given to Henry by virtue of reaching 2K but also running it back as yards/TD champ which does not factor towards MVP.
Rodgers had an 8 TD lead over #2 and was still #7 in yds only 500 behind #1.
very close and NFL rules (the small print) dictate when there’s a close comparison, refer to QB.
ARod had a good season as well, the 48 TD were above the norm (2018 Mahomes only threw more in that 5 year span), Henry’s 17 have been reached 3 other times and 7 more at 15-16 in the same stretch. That hurts his “impressiveness” of having 17.

You are the best dude! Much appreciated! Nobody brings the data for thought as well as you do. I’m geeking out on your geekness!

It’s gotta be humbling for Aaron Rodgers going from little Green Bay, WI where he was basically a god to NYC where 9 million people would happily shove him out of the way to get on the subway first.
