seems he did well as secondary coach, but his DC stints look a little shaky?
The good news here is that they are actually looking at outside candidates.
Hard to evaluate his time at the Lions and Bengals. Some of those Lions defenses weren't actually half bad - as crazy as that is to say.seems he did well as secondary coach, but his DC stints look a little shaky?
Like Chronos said though, the most important take away is that they're interviewing DC candidates.
Vrabel will probably bring in like Rodney Harrison or Teddy Bruschi out of the booth to play DC....smhThe good news here is that they are actually looking at outside candidates.
From what I read, he lasted half a season as the DC of the Bengals.seems he did well as secondary coach, but his DC stints look a little shaky?
Is Goodell gunna give us some free draft picks for hiring this guy?
No
No those come if he gets hired away as HCIs Goodell gunna give us some free draft picks for hiring this guy?
That be nice but we can’t expect him to be around for long. If he has a half way decent season then half the league will want to hire him as a HC - as it goes for Titan coordinators
three trips to the Super Bowl and one Championship with 3 different teams if that means anything.
His defenses got progressively worse for 3 years in Detroit, then he got fired mid season in Cincy the year after that. I’ll pass
I was just going to mention something about that. Thread titles mid-stroke don't turn out well.this thread name is all over the place
If im JRob I would be looking at coaches from KC, Balt, Buf. Try and get a coach that can bring over some players to help out on defense/offense.
I want Dean Pees to un-retire he was perfect here. Even though he is up in age, I would rather have Wade Phillips as DC than Austin. I am glad that we are looking outside, only inside name I want is Pees.
Or typing with his feetI was just going to mention something about that. Thread titles mid-stroke don't turn out well.
