Teams try to make us beat them without henry. You'd think we would try to make rodgers beat us down the field with blitzing and not just dink and dunk down the field.

Why do you think we insist on letting good qbs just sit back there and dink and dunk us all game. Each game

Our defense is so historically bad that it really doesn’t matter what coverage we play. We will get burned deep because we don’t get any pass rush if we play press. So they play 10 yards off hoping we can contain them which clearly doesn’t work either

Because Vrabel is clueless

But you see dean was good at making up with that poor pash rush by blitzing corners all the time. Vrabels design and play calling just sucks!!!

If nothing else, he should try to mix things up. When you are in a pattern that don't work, stop doing it.
It will work against a few teams, the offense can bail them in others.
But it's useless when they play a well rounded team.

2 different RB had 100 Yards rushing today. I know A-Aron got the glory of 4 TD, but not tackling against the run had more to do with not forcing Rodgers to throw deep than not stopping the dink and dunks to force deep throws.

The Tennessee D was just awful all around today. The only 2 plays worth mentioning were the sack on 4th down with the game still in question (somewhat) and the too little too late INT by butler. Otherwise, missed tackles, poor coverage, and an overall display of the league's worst Defense.
Also not good on 3rd down (AGAIN!!!)

I would absolutely add that tannehill was equally as bad. He has not played well in cold weather situations dated back to last year’s playoffs

Well one team played to their strength and the other team played to their opponents strength ... Also the refs did help a whole lot.

Strategy?

This is no strategy for this defense. Just run the same soft zone/cover 2 or 3 b.s. week in and week out hoping for a different result.

We are on our 3rd LT. What do we think is going to happen when teams know we have to throw it?

Tannehill couldn’t make throws early in the game to extend drives and it put us in that spot (along with horrible defense). Henry got us to 3rd and short. Tannehill couldn’t covert them.

Unfortunately I also believe the weather played a role. Our offense hadn’t looked this bad since week 1.

Offense looked pretty bad against the Bengals.

The weather thing might be true but Titans are going to hate playing in January if they can’t handle that. Especially since the teams ahead of us are KC, Buffalo, and Pitt.....

Tannehill hasnt looked good in a cold weather game yet so plan on them hating it

Let's just hope we don't have to play in NE or Balt in Jan.
