Jrob was just fired. Ryan Cowden is the new GM. We currently have about $2.5 mil in cap space. What should we do now to salvage this season?
At this point in the season, I doubt there is much that can be done to bring in new talent.

There is no fix. We went all in last two years to get there. Didn't work. Cap gone. It will be a do-over and complete rebuild from this point.
We could start by at least trying Le'Raven Clark at left tackle and cutting Dailey and firing Downing. That would be nice start

Who plays is on Vrabel already. About the only thing Cowden/Vrabel can do personnel wise is raid other team PS or find someone not on a roster.
Even if they fired Downing today, you still have to run his "system". Can't teach a whole new playbook over night.
I guess they could fire him and hope someone else could use the plays he has in the playbook more effectively. But only so much you can do with 3 yard hooks, 1 man routes and Henry up the middle.

At this point yea it would be a god send. At least he might be a bit more unpredictable and make them calls at the right moment.

Not much is going to happen this season but there’s a lot that can be done in the off-season to free up a lot of cap space. Will be interesting to see what the new GM does.

Not his system just his playbook. There’s bound to be good plays in there.

disagree... TL77 and a couple of other clowns will free up tons of CAP...
I mean getting OL that can play OL clearly an issue but should have CAP to address that - hopefully
He's averaging like 19 yards a catch and has had 3-4 go for 30-40 yards. Let not get him the ball.
replace the o-line coach will have instant results, replacing Downing will help.
Tennessee could have an All Madden roster, coaches, staff, stadium, fans and they would still suck. Team is cursed like the Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons. Just except that fact that this team will usually go 8-7, limp into the playoffs, and get knocked out. Once you all can accept that, then watching this team do what they do is so much easier.
