If you're drafting 23rd to 27th every year, you're doing something right. It's all about hitting on your draft picks and signing a key piece here and there that can contribute.
Getting the 5th pick in the draft most definitely is more appealing than getting the 25th pick, but if you're getting the 5th pick you certainly aren't doing something right (unless we're talking about a trade).
BINGO, this guy has missed substantial games for two straight seasons, played in 9 games due to injuries and has 2 receptions for 8 yrds in said two seasons LOL.

The cap space is irrelevant for this season. No one to trade past the deadline and no free agents worth the time of day. Once Woods, Lewan, and Cunningham are cut, the cap space will not be an issue.
