I think his tenure here may be coming to an end if Amy has the balls to fire him. A lot is riding on this years draft picks for him. If they don't pan out he needs to be held accountable for his questionable choices. Not to mention his mishandling of the cap. Thoughts?

He’s not a consistent drafter. That’s for sure. Misses early and panics a lot.
Hes going to stick around - don’t see Amy just cleaning house / they going to be patient especislly with the nucleus of Tanny, Brown and Henry in place.
We won’t know if this specific draft is a bust for few years but don’t have a good feeling with it. After last years wasted pick , if this class under performs early then he should have his seat warmers turned up. Doubt Amy will do much about it though.

Not yet but that window closes fast...Brown and Reynolds aren't enough at WR...JRob's done nothing in this draft to strengthen that group

You guys need to chill out....its amazing how quick some of you forget just how bad this team was before JRob showed up. We went from literally the worst roster in the league winning 4 games to playoffs in 3 straight years and a trip to the AFC championship. A lot of teams would kill for that.
So all you take a chill pill cause JRob is as safe as it gets in this league for a GM. Just cause you guys watch a few highlight reals doesn't mean a player should be drafted ahead of X, Y, Z. Let these kids play some snaps and then we can talke about them 2-3 years down the road. The Patriots did this for years taking guys in later rounds earlier than they should of gone and it worked out well for them more times than not. Plus JRob has a pretty good track record with late round picks. Not every pick is going to pan out especially in the later rounds. 32 other teams are passing on players still on the board so maybe they all know something we don't!!

The time to trade up and give up picks was back in the 2nd for Elijah Moore. Instead he trades down in 3 and doesn't draft another decent fit at WR in Amari Rodgers but trades up for a guy that could be there in 5 or 6?
You're right, just because we watch highlight tapes doesn't make us experts but just because he's the GM doesn't shelter him from criticism...he's made some questionable moves as well as some good ones.

Only reason that worked for the pats was because of brady. Brady made that entire coaching staff and front office look way better than they actually were.
In context, JRob has a whole staff helping make these decisions, and while he does have to answer for those choices, they are not being made in a vacuum. He is a whole lot better at this job than Webster or Reinfeldt even on his worst day. Floyd Reese, who many regard as the best GM of the Titans era, had his misses, too, and had to blow up the team after huge cap hits. Robinson will have to answer for the misses, but give them a chance to be misses first.
The big issue to me is... we are so close to being a really good team and we all know that window does NOT stay open for very long. So instead of addressing what we need to improve he does stuff like this. We need immediate help for this next 2 seasons, after that, chances are we will be back fighting for last place in the division again.
Agree, he seems to be focused on replacing guys down the road...after CB, and I get the OT pick after last year but he should have made a move for E Moore...maybe he did but I doubt it

But we are where we are because of JRob. And my guess is he is trying to build a team in a way that can last and be competitive long term. He could go all in and mortgage the future but I think the smarter move is to try to build a consistent competitor. This franchise has been a disaster with every GM since Reese. Now with JRob at the helm we are not. Why in the world would we move on from him. If we miss this window, he has shown that he is a guy that can form a roster that will have windows again in the future.
No we haven’t. When we start losing consistently on the field we can pick this back up again.
There is a small window with what makes this team go..Tanny, Henry and AJB....winning consistently means different things to different people...personally I want consistent playoff runs, not consistent 11-4 seasons and one and dones

How many of these moronic threads do we need. JRob is not on the hot seat and isn’t going to be for years if ever. H as just listed as a top 7 GM in the NFL and is really good at his job. He doesn’t draft the players people on a message board want. So what. That makes them questionable? This isn’t fantasy football. JROB knows what he is doing. Amy was in the Draft Room fist bumping early on in the draft. She ain’t firing him. He has turned this franchise into a personal winner and they will stay that way for a while. This small window crap is just that, crap.
There will be plenty of veteran WRs and other position players available after the draft.
