I have never trusted Josina Anderson her info is right there with the Rap report. She and others are why espn ratings are in the tank.
It's another "prove it" deal. The Redskins broke the bank for Haynesworth. We aren't doing that with Clowney, he'll be hungry for a bigger deal/big extension.
We may finally have a pass rush!! Hopefully get to hear Mike Keith yelling sack more often!
1 year deal makes that unlikely but I am tempering expectations. Clowney steps up in big games. Doesn't live up to the hype for a full season in my opinion. He'll also have to be eased in with no off season. That said, I'm happy with 6 to 8 sacks in the regular season. A couple huge plays in clutch games. If he steps up in the playoffs like he did last year with the Seahawks or how Casey stepped up for us, I'm happy. He'll obviously help against the run and open things up for Landry and Simmons.
