That may be true but you still have to perform. Matt wins games under preasure. A LOT! They wouldn't be undefeated if it weren't for him, IMO. I like Jay and I certainly wouldn't be disappoitned if the Titans got him. I just think Leinhart has more to offer. You can teach football but you can't teach a guy to make big plays under preasure and he's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he can make big plays under the most expreme preasure.
Yeah Matt made big plays under big pressure......so did Ken Dorsey, Jason White, Ryan Leaf, Craig Krenzel.....the list goes on and on. I do think Matt will be a much better NFL QB than all of those but it is true that they all made big plays in big games with the game on the line. Look at Brett Favre he never played a game with anywhere near the marbles that Leinart did and he was considered on of the most clutch and best QB's of all time. Winning big games in college under pressure only goes so far. Jay is a warrior he as what it takes even if hes never played in the big game.

I don't think any of those guys went undefeated for three straight years. Big difference. Leinhart will go way before Cutler and odds are we won't have a chance at either, anyway...

Leinhart could still fall to us around 6, especially if we trade Volek to the Jets to keep them from drafting him. Cutler will surely be there when we pick. Maybe not, but in all likelihood, he will.

You guys are crazy, you downgrade Leinart cause his team is great, thats what you want when you are a player, a good team. Its not Leinart's fault that other players decided to come to USC, Leinart is a winner that has great mechanics. Stop trying to look for a way to make Leinart not seem good, Leinart's a winner. When he came out of high school he was good, and when he comes to the NFL he will be good, don't let his team fool you. Leinart is great, is a leader, and has Montana like qualites. He will always make the play and will never let you lose, he's a rich man's Tom Brady. Frankly, him or Vince Young are the players I am hoping the Titans get.

Those were big wins for Vanderbilt. They essentialy kept Tennessee out of a Bowl game this year (remember Tennessee beat LSU this year and barely lost to Bama). Vandy also gave Florida all they wanted at Florida this year and although they were behind 34-10 at the half Cutler almost brought Vandy back against Kentucky (396 yards and 5 TDs). In the loss to MTSU Vandy had a shot a winning FG but the kick was blocked.

Vandy had a chance to win the Fla game as well, but got no love from the refs on the phantom "taunting" call that kept them for going for 2, as I recall...

You do have to admit that Leinhart has had as much offensive talent around him as any college QB in the history of college football for 3 years. His RBs, WRs and OL have been awesome and many are in the pros or heading there.
How many pro level RBs, WRs and OL has Cutler played with? Cutler also has played in a much tougher conference with that iinferior talent around him.
