He may not be our Taysom Hill but he may he our our Mariota lol. Not because of the Hawaii thing, but he does seem to have above average athleticism for his position with a decent enough arm to push the ball down field, and the Titans clearly had a Mariota package last year they ran a few plays here and there. Think they still want that? Possibly.
It's the Patriots formula lol, pretty much take a QB late round every year even if you have a starter. If you hit on one or able to develop them enough, you have trade bait. Consider the low hit rate on late round picks versus what you can get back for a QB with a few good games (doesn't really take much) the rewards out weighs the risk.

I’ve always felt like you should take one every year. If you get a halfway decent one, the league has proved they will over trade for him too.
So a bunch of nobodies... especially since it's a 7TH ROUND QB.

Lets not forget that Romo went undrafted and was a developmental project as well. Played two years as the 3rd string QB and placeholder learning behind Testeverde and Bledsoe. Anything can happen, worth the 7th IMO.
I've watched a handful of Hawaii games this past season and he has some talent but his biggest issue seems to be poor decision making, he had some ugly turnovers from what I recall.

That combine workout looked really bad ( throwing ). But he's a good looking kid.
watching his highlights.. he doesn't really need to be a QB here, he could be used other ways.. pretty fast
