So how do you guys feel about our RB by Committee?

I think this group did well tonight and will improve as the weeks go by.

Foreman almost took one to the house if he didn't trip up. I like what I saw from this group tonight going up against the Rams defense. Factor in that none of these RB's have been have been thrown in a role like they were tonight.

This RB by committee should be good enough to hold things down until the King heals.

Also glad that Peterson got a TD.

Against the rams, in their first week, it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

The line was bad tonight. Gotta get healthier.

And the WR corps has to give us more.

AP hasn’t played football in 17 years so I’m willing to give him a pass, running backs also need to get in a groove before they get going, so I would like to see AP still start again and see if he improves.

He will. Really can't expect someone sitting on their couch at his age to come right in and dominate from day 1. He actually looked explosive to me at times. Just didn't get any help from the OL and playing against the Rams.

I expect to see him get to form against the Saints next week, along with Foreman.

Who played left tackle for us today??

AP look rusty vision wise and pat level wise time will heal that.

P.s Saints have the second beat rushing defense so it won't be easy.

Foreman looked the best and should be given more carries if what I saw tonight continues

Great job of splitting it up, imo. AD started game and wasnt hot. Mixed it up and got the run game going. Think these 3 are a good trio to look forward too. Honestly thought McNichols wouldve got more carries. Need to rewatch but i thought play calling was good.

Also, f the Rams for picking up Sargent!

his first run and spin looked explosive af but other than that, he clearly looked like someone that hasn’t put on the pads in a while to me.

Foreman looked good. McNichols did what he does. AP looked explosive and ran hard. And went nowhere. Can't really comment on what is there from the TV angles, but I'm worried about him.

I don't know if AP can run behind his pads any more. That has to happen for him to do much for us. Hopefully it isn't a worn out or injured back issue.

Uh. We averaged 2.7 ypc. It didn't look good to me. It didn't matter, but it did not look good. 4 catches for 16 yards was meh.

Foreman looked ok, but he only had 5 carries, 29 yards, and at one point he tackled himself. So I can't wear rose colored glasses for that.

And it was a game where we were ahead the entire game, but still only 69 yards on the ground.

To be fair the offensive line wasn't doing Henry any favors this season and none of those backs are the king. Take into account that our best run blocker in Nate Davis was sidelined and a virtual unknown was playing LT along with a sidelined swing tackle that doesn't help matters. Peterson hasn't played in nearly a year, Foreman was signed off the street and McNichols has been nothing more than a situational pass catcher....so yeah the results are about what I expected against the #10 run defense.

he had like 5-6 days to get ready for his first game in like 9 months

it was a preseason game for him in all respects

don't read too much into it

B11 makes those 2 catches instead of stone handing them and the O is judged differently

T17 played well enough considering the game situation
