We may need 2 new WRs so Ill play along.

Lets first note we have no cap space.

Of the FA WRs that are hitting the market Id be good if we made a play on TY Hilton (LOL DREAMIN), Curtis Samuel (guy has 4.3 speed), JuJu Smith-Schuster (been playing down cause of Big Ben falling off so will be mildly affordable if we had cap space, and Zach Pascal (hes a RFA so he wont be available but wtf knows these days.)

Probably best to draft WRs

I don't think we need any WR or only 1 to replace Davis. Even then, we still have Hump (hopefully healthy, not getting cut for the cap hit), Batson, Raymond, and of course AJ.

BUT you mention the cap room.

I'm sure Wright would be super cheap and easily lured away from Toronto to come back. lol.
Who knows, maybe even Tajae gets released from the PS of KC, or whatever role he was talented enough to fill from the bench.

To be clear, there's always a FA thread for the offseason, as noted, this is super early.
I am 100% NOT serious about going after Wright or Tajae.
Re-sign Davis or some other cheaper Vet. We're not looking for a superstar. AJ Brown has that part locked down and we need someone who is cheap.

I would definitely be in on samuel to replace hump. I really wouldn't be super upset letting davis go too if the price gets to high. Hump is good, but he misses way to much time for the money. Samuel would be a really fun piece to our o, i think he'd do really well. He's never played on a team where he can be the 4th or 5th guy teams plan for. If we keep one of davis and jonnu, we would be doing ourselves a huge favor getting a guy like samuel

which site is right?

Apparently mine is. You only count the top 51 contracts until the season begins. So from March till game 1 they can kinda do what they want. So it really doesn’t matter till the 1st game of the season. If I read the rule correct.

Ok well 1.3 isnt much at all, cant even sign draft picks with 1.3

Vaccaro will be cut. 100% certain of that. 5.4 million in cap space

One of Adoree/Butler will either be restructed or cut. Maybe both. I think at least 10 million is saved here. Personally, I would cut Adoree and restructure Butler to push more money to next year and pay him less than 10 million in 2021.

On the OL we have Jones, Saffold, and Lewan as candidates to be restructured. As far as Jones, I sort of doubt we part ways with our starting C who is arguably coming off the his best season. But this would be 6.25 million in savings.

Saffold likewise seems unlikely to be cut given his cap hit. He also performed very well last season. But with his age and the emergence of Brewer, Saffold's days seem numbered in a Titan uni. He could possibly be a trade candidate. I don't expect it, but it's a possibility. Would be 7.5 million saved against the cap if we cut him.

Lewan could also be restructured/extended. Will not be cut. Potential to save 3-4 million if restructured.

Hump will most certainly be cut after June 1 to save another 7ish million.

We'll also cut a few roster guys making around 1 million that we can replace easily with draft picks and UDFAs, and likely save another 1-2 million

I imagine we plan on having having roughly 25-30 million in caproom, maybe more depending on what happens with Adoree and Butler. If we were to move on from both of them, we'd have 35-40 million in cap room at least.

Couldn’t agree more. I think Hump/Vacarro are gone and Adoree as well. Hopefully traded for something. I think Byard, Lewan and Butler restructure. I think we free up a solid $30 mil and (once again) throw most of it at pass rush.
I think we let Corey go and grab some early mid round WRs. This WR class is comparable to last years crazy deep WR class and we should have 2 3rd round picks.

Agree almost all the way around.

If I'm not mistaken, Humphries is still 2.5 mil cap hit if cut?

I can't see anyone trading for a guard. Saffold played well last year from what I saw and I am pretty excited that Brewer came out of nowhere. Brewer may just be good depth for one more year and readdress the Saffold contract next year.

With the AJ25/Butler situation, I see Butler the same way I see Lewan, expensive and can't guarantee contract restructures, but neither are going anywhere.
I think everyone is on the same idea that AJ25 is not worth 10mil. I'd like to see him back, but not at the cost of King. I think re-signing King is a bigger priority than re-signing AJ25 to a smaller contract but I'd like to see both done. AJ25 may very well be gone.
