I haven't watched the whole game again (didn't want to puke) but when was that 3rd and short? The play on 3rd and 2 when McNichols ran for 11 yards off left OG?
Here is the thing. First of all Henry does need to get off the field some. The guy is a monster but he is getting over used. 33 carries and 2 receptions. Pretty good workload. Secondly, McNichols, along with that one run for 11 yards had 8 catches for 74 yards. So it wasn't like they weren't having some decent options with him in there.
And yes, to those who need to know it was McNichols who missed a block that almost got Tannehill killed so I'm not sure he is a better option than Henry as a pass blocker. Either way they do need to sub for Henry when they can and this is one game where his replacement did pretty darn good.
Al in all the game was not as bad of a loss as people make it out to be. The Jets played like they were in the playoffs and were desperate for a win. The Jets are actually a pretty talented team when they can get good QB play. Our injuries and their good play were a bad combination especially playing them at home. On top of that we were a dropped pass or a bad snap from winning. It is the NFL.
