Have to say that I was surprised with the move today to move on from both kickers. I figured keep best one until after Saints game and then if you want to sign a vested vet you do it after week 1 so that their contract is not guaranteed for the year.
Ran obviously has a connection with Robbie Gould who is available. Guy hasn't missed a FG or extra point any any of his 16 playoff games. He is old and probably doesn't have the distance that he used to, but accuracy was still their last yr.
49ers traded for Zane Gonzales and then drafted Jake Moody in the 3rd rnd... so one of them will become available
Patriots traded up to draft Chad Ryland in the 4th rnd... so he is in a camp battle with Nick Folk
If we truely are looking to land a vet after week 1 then I would consider picking up the backup kicker for the Saints because he would at least have some experience kicking inside the Superdome.
Will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

K is probably the most disappointing.
QB is tough for a lot of teams and all of the other positions outside OL can kind of make up for each other or has another position that can cover for the bad positions.
OL honestly seems the easiest position around the league to at least get a couple decent players. It’s almost more talented to miss as much as TN has.

We need to bring in a couple A.S.A.P Bagley is not the guy been there and done that.
IMO as far as OL goes its the lack of development since Munchak was named HC. Used to Titans could grab someone in the 4th and they would be a starter year 2 and a good one. Nobody seems to improve at OL anymore
How do the Titans have 3 all pro punters in 25 years and 25 all poo kickers in 3 years.
They’re just that good.
that one year Titans went thru like 6 kickers, succup twice, and hit like 35% of FGAs .... historically bad stuff

Sounds like Dustin Hopkins is going to lose kicking job to Dicker the kicker…. Another vet who will be available
He shouldn't be the kicker come Monday morning, really.
Why Monday? Should be early morning Sunday.
K will get sorted. Neither Wolff nor Shudak were consistent enough. Badgely got another chance to prove he had gotten better and he hasn’t. There will be a lot of K’s to choose from next week. Badgely won’t be our K for New Orleans.
