GWAR- "Think you ought to know this"

I can't help it, one more quote.

Guitar for GWAR: FLATTUS MAXIMUS — This gassy disaster slaughters thousands with his shredding solo’s and reeking flatulence. Eats only vegatarians.

Maybe it's just my semi-stupid, semi-sick sense of humor, but I found that last line hilarious.

Love this line from their myspace.....

"GWAR sounds like GWAR. If you can't understand that then we will be more than happy to cut your head off."

:biglaugh:

Years ago my friend's band opened for GWAR at at a venue by my house run by another bud in Fla. I got to go down that afternoon to meet the band and check out all their costumes and crap and it was just unbelievable. This was back when Sly Hymen was in the band. They were all permantly stained red from the blood night after night.. They had to close venue for a month after the squirting "blood gun" made the ceiling cave-in..
My friend's band eventually did pretty well too (The Genitorturers)

One Night in Bangkok- Murray Head

Thanks for playing, I just wrapped the competition for worst song up

Ugh, all you had to do was mention that song and now it's stuck in my brain. Murray Head - worst name in pop-music. That would be a good entry for a "obscure hits" thread..
