It was the right call. They are going to call that every single time

The issue is, if your top priority is "player safety" but at the same time allow an offensive player to keep fighting after his progress is stopped for 4-5 seconds...you can't get mad when a player comes in to put a stop to that fighting. You can't have it both ways. If an offensive lineman would have came up and pushed the ball with the same force as Simmons just did, there wouldn't have been a call. The refs have to blow the whistle earlier if they feel the progress has stopped.
 
The football is good, but everything else about the game is awful. The announcing, the officiating, the field that is going to make me go blind....
