The redzone offense was historically efficient, had two receivers near/at 1000 yards, tanne had a 4.7/1 TD to int ratio. The year after sans art with the same weapons we watched henry lose a full yard per carry and the O fall apart. It was absolutely a stellar season, not just henry running wild.
Henry was out nearly the entire season the year after, and he’s not the same player he was now.

Could be. Also possible that Nagy wasn't interested in the Titans job. I don't have any inside info to know either way.
Vrabel always promotes from within. He’s never looked outside for a coordinator. Those interviews are nothing but a smokescreen to appease the fans like always. I feel stupid for thinking he might actually change his philosophy.

With an absolute unknown at QB right now I’m not surprised bigger name people wouldn’t commit to us.

This is likely influenced by the fact that henry has only been on the field for third and shorts and never gets the classic third and long draw which would significantly lower his conversation %
Possibly but we’ll never know for sure how many more 3rd and short (I’d say 3 or less yds) he would’ve converted if not taken off the field so often on 3rd and whatever.

I'm more and more convinced that position coaches really don't matter at all. If they can go from TE to QB to OL coach etc etc overnight.
How much do they really know about each position?
They're obviously not specialist at X position if all of it is so interchangable.

Right. I'm gonna go with the position coaches are just parts of the snake to keep the head coach from having to run one giant practice...... There's no 'POSITIONAL MASTERMIND'..

Now, I will say, you can have a position coach that can F it up real good --- Carter the former OL coach.... We had to have had the most unhealthy OL the last 3 years, and that's a horrible recipe when you lean on the run and play action...

Position coaches are very important. Look at how our o-line consistently has changed with different coaches. Look at how far the secondary fell off under Midget.
