Titans have had a lot of players overlooked by national media but some of the best since the move are even under appreciated here.

To open the thread, I point to an unbelievable catch by one of the best titans WR since the move.
It’s easy to say Mason as the best, but what a find in Nate Washington, showing how good he really was considering the absolute WR poverty over the past few years. We also had an OC willing to throw long with an OL that allowed the time.

Kenny Britt before he got hurt

Keith Bulluck

Cortland Finnegan
I think Bulluck is appreciated. At least one of my favorites and I can agree that on the National level, maybe under appreciated but I’ll even give them credit for sticking with the Mr Monday Night nickname.

Britt probably.

Finnegan unfortunately gets remembered more for his attitude, feistiness on the field, and of course that Andre Johnson thing.
I’d like to have seen him put together a couple more seasons in Tennessee, but statistically, I think he gets overlooked.
He’s top 25 in INT for the franchise (below Bulluck), he’s around #5 since the relocation depending how you look at guys that played before and after.

Kevin Carter. Everyone remembers Haynesworth as the guy that made our DL so dominant, but Carter really helped solidified our DL in the early 2000's. Much like Autry has done recently as the compliment to Simmons.

I kind of feel that way about Tony Brown. I also think he gets kind of forgotten because of his generic name.

I have to go with Derrick Morgan.. I know a lot of people on here didn't care for him and his "almost sacks" but dude was very consistent in being a good pass rusher (even though sack stats didn't show it). There was a reason he was on this roster for 8 years.

Bulluck for sure, he was a pro bowl caliber player most of his career.

Have to disagree about Britt and Finnegan though. Britt had potential to be a star, but unfortunately he couldn't stay healthy. Finnegan got voted to two all pro teams, so he wasn't unknown to the media. Plus he was probably a good player for a short stint and stayed in the league due to his heart over his skills.

I'd say the two most disrespected Titans by the media of all time would easily be

Keith Bulluck and Michael Roos. Two guys that were never talked about by people outside of Ttitans fans and two guys that were pro bowl caliber players every year.

My picks for under appreciated Titans:
Eugene Amano
Justin Gage
Karl Klug
Stephen Tulloch

Some of it is based upon production vs where they were drafted, and some is that they just were overshadowed by others on the team at the time they played. Wish these guys would have been on team longer.

Tulloch was an undersized tackling machine.. Came on super fast and fell off just as fast.

Absolutely no one outside Tennessee would know these guys.

Gage was not great but was fairly effective in that stage between Mason/Bennett leaving and the next “round” with Washington and Britt and others.

Tulloch was a tackle machine but didn’t have the coverage of Bulluck which is why I think he may have been overlooked.

Like Roos mentioned above, I think there are a lot of OL that have been under appreciated. They can be more appreciated today seeing the trash OL currently.

I mostly remember carter for saying how much he wanted to be a Titan then signing with miami like the first minute FA started

He did get a lot of pressures could just never get the sacks. I always liked him he was always close to the QB he just didn’t live up to where he was drafted.

Peter Sirmon Rocky Calmus Rock Boiman Keith Bulluck and Brad Kassell was probably the best LB corp we have ever had and probably will have

I made a custom Tony Brown jersey because he was born and raised in Chattanooga and they all laughed at me, oh how they mocked me. Then when he was gone I made it a Karl Klug, best value I have ever gotten out of a jersey
