Yeah, that’s not how evolution works. To be fair the way evolution works there is always a first. They should be called krakens it just makes more sense. But there is a first genetically new member of a species who then passes on their genes and leads to the new subspecies.
I'm a refugee Redskin fan who is just checking things out around here. I have been a loyal Redskin fan my whole life (just short of 50 years) and have never really had much interest in other teams until fairly recently. Living in both Western NC and VA I had a chance to catch at least one game a year live and to watch the games I couldn't attend on TV.
The game day experience at FedEx is miserable. You either have to take the Metro and walk a mile and a half from the stop or pay $50 to park. Traffic management getting in or out is better at a high school football game. Management simply does not care. The stadium itself is too big and they've been steadily removing seats for years. Half the stadium is filled with opposing fans every week because the local fans have just had it. Can you blame them? It just feels like the team is trying to stick it to you at every opportunity.
The only trump card Snyder and company had was to play on emotions of the connection to past teams that played the game the right way and had great success. Problem is those days are disappearing into the rear view mirror....quickly. My kids only remember the Snyder era so they don't know first hand how good the organization once was. I do, and this ain't it.
The last thing I want to be know as is a weasel fan or someone who ducks out when things get rocky. That's not me. I love the other fans of the team and the bonds I've made because of it over the years but I HATE what the team has become. I could (and have) live with bad performance but that organization does everything the wrong way.The name change and the sexual harassment stuff is just the latest in a long line. I don't see it ever changing in DC while Dan still owns the team.
So my choices are: start buying all the new gear that Danny boy wants to sell for his newly named team, stop watching football all together or find another team to pull for. That's why I'm here. I need an AFC team reasonably close to home, so going to see a game now and then isn't out of the question, and and that has ownership and a front office that isn't a running joke. The Titans seem to fit the bill nicely.
I doubt I'll post too much but I've been taking the time to read a bit over the last few days and this seems like you've got a nice place here with reasonable folks. I'll do my best not to screw it up.
If you have Skins questions, fire away. I've been an admin on a Redskins board up until recently and know more about the team that I'd admit in polite company.
Welcome friend.
If you like running the ball and playing defense this is a good spot for youThanks for the welcome.
Up and down I can live with. Low and lower is getting old. I'm an ex-Oline guy so oldschool is fine with me.
Jon Robinson is a saint, youre only as good as your GM. You might enjoy the Titans. Our last few seasons always come down to week-17 or the playoffs.
It is a series of random mutations or just traits that end up becoming the norm because they are beneficial. Sure more than one baby could come out around the same time with the same change. But yes that is the basic idea of evolution. Random new species don't just pop out of the ground. It is a very slow process. Which is why there is so much overlap in related species even if they do not look or act anything like each other.Yeah, that’s not how evolution works.
Welcome to the party. I think you'd be jumping in at the right time to not necessarily be considered a bandwagon (not that you should care, everyone has their story).I'm a refugee Redskin fan who is just checking things out around here. I know a few here are old Oilers fans like myself so I can understand some of the frustrations with team mismanagement. Titans are not exempt (note the webster years) but seem to have made giant steps forward.
Plus. like you said, location matters.
I forgot, there are probably some important questions for your submitted resume that will likely need answered:Thanks again for the warm welcome.
How do you feel about Vince Young?
" " Chris Johnson?
" " Zach Mettenberger?
" " Donnie Nickey?
" " Jeff Fisher?
" " Marcus Mariota, of course?
Just a few hot button players that seem to make the rounds here.

why has no one given this man his application?
Haha yeswhy has no one given this man his application?
Always fun to see that thing randomly show up online
Almost asked for it lol.why has no one given this man his application?
Can have S or no SAre we expecting an S on the end then?
NHL is just bad at naming hockey teams anyway. Wild, Canadiens (as not the only Canadian team), Canucks, the Ducks (stolen from a kids movie), etc.

Lol....
Gorka’s version, the kraken is not Trump himself so much as the havoc brought forth by Trump’s will.— Mattathias Schwartz, New York Times, "When Trump’s Sidekicks Treat Politics Like an Action Movie," 24 July 2019
The Seahawks fans call themselves the 12th man, not mans. So the Kraken for a team name kinda fits that town
Son you better go take that chill pill rating off my post, i made that damn fan applicationCan have S or no S

The 12th man is a singular person. They all refer to themselves as THE 12th man.The Seahawks fans call themselves the 12th man, not mans. So the Kraken for a team name kinda fits that town
So in that sense, I suppose the Seattle hockey team is 1. Or the idea that there are Krakens in different areas, this just happens to be the Seattle one.
It still doesn’t change that it’s a stupid name, that’s my opinion.
