Going back to the coach thread in that other forum....
I actually thought Callahan was the logical choice, and I stated that. And to be honest, I still do think it was the right choice. He is a smart guy. He will turn out to be a good NFL head coach at some point. He has that Matt Lafleur vibe. The question is will we choose to stick with him during this transition. I'm not sure. No right or wrong answer there. This team is just not good. He is not doing well right now. But a good QB and a few more good players will make him look like a genius. Will we acquire those pieces. I don't know. Probably not. It's a timing thing and this just may not be the right timing for him. All we can hope for us that we somehow end up with the right combo of players and coaches at some point.

It's never the right time for the Titans. When we need a QB and the crop is good we are drafting in the middle of the pack. We get 1st pick, it somehow is a bad QB draft. The vice versa for the other key positions. It's almost the same way in FA. When we need something like RT really bad, there doesn't ever seem to be options.
This is unfortunately extremely accurate

Not a huge fan of most the first round prospects this year. Especially not shadeur

I would like to think the team would improve and so would his coaching abilities but it seems that he can’t make in game adjustments so once his scripted drives are done that’s it. It’s very concerning that he is not able to make adjustment's. He should try giving up on play calling and let the OC take care of that and just focus on coaching, but if the Titans go 1-16 I don’t see how he can keep his job, there is enough talent on the team to atleast win 6-7 games!
