I'd much rather pay to see a good movie than see a lame one for free..
I see good movies for free as well.
Every now and then I'll see a stinker, but that's really only 1/10.
I have a feeling we are going to start seeing the actor who played the teenage Kevin in everything. The kid is talented. John C. Reilly is an underrated actor. He needs more roles outside of comedy.

I agree. Reilly is one of my favorite people in this world. He is way more skilled than Will Ferrel imo, and Ferrel did a wonderful job in Everything Must Go. I wanna see Reilly do something like that.
By the way, his adult swim show "Check It Out" is awesome. YOU GUYS SHOULD CHECK IT OUT.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
It's taking some serious heat from the critics but I don't understand why. One of the complaints is that it takes itself too seriously; IMO it would have sucked if it didn''t do just that. As a history/horror mashup it was a lot of fun; Traci remarked at what a badass Abe was with an axe and that it made her miss her martial arts days. We both really enjoyed it for the ride it was intended to be.

The book is quite impressive.
I love the alternate history on the civil war and the "truth" behind slavery. It was a fun read.

Pretty much agree with you. It's such a stupid movie when you think about it. It's basically a Toy Story kids type movie with extreme crude humor, language, and sex... Not trying to hate on Toy Story because that was my favorite movie growing up. Just sayin' Ted was set up just like a typical kid movie, but with adult humor.
I went into the movie not expecting much. Had plenty of laughs. There were also tons of over the top, stupid parts, but I expected that. I had no idea Giovanni Ribisi was in it... He played a pretty good creeper. Damn he was weird.
I still think 21 Jump Street is the funniest movie of the year - talk about a movie that came out of nowhere. I also went into the movie expecting absolutely nothing, but I loved it.
Also saw Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. I'd give it an 8/10. I really liked it, but I'm sure most wouldn't. I hadn't even heard of the movie before being invited to go.

...did my band a big favor last night: a gang of about ten or so hot 30-something ladies rolled into the bar after seeing that movie and brought their party to the dance floor!

Just saw Ted. Went into it expecting it to suck but was pleasantly surprised. Really funny movie. 3.5/5
It's alot better than the the Dark Knight, that movie was just straight boring for a batman movie. Begins was alot better

Batman Begins does deserve more love. It's just as good as The Dark Knight.
