The new Batman commercial looked interesting.. That is until they revealed the alternate trailer with Batgirl. WTF? Didn't they learn their lesson from the last Batman movie series?

Big problem with TDK is that the action isnt very good and there isnt one person in the movie who physically challenges Batman and obviously Rises will. I liked ledger as the joker but prefer Nicholson. Another problem is that people r right when they say Batman isn't involved in the movie as much as they'd like not because of the Joker but more on humanity in general with the choices they make and morality, like wtf who cares about those people.
Wtf...I love Jack, but he doesn't even come close to Ledger performance wise. DW back me up on this.
Haha, I agree. I am really looking forward to some hardcore Batman vs Bane fights. Sissy slapping the Joker in a dark cell isn't really intense.
Went and seen Ted today. I thought it was pretty good. Should be a classic on TV in a year or so. Everyone in the theater couldn't stop laughing. I'll buy it soon as it hits blu ray.

Ledger's Joker destroyed Jack's cartoonish take. Jack set out to destroy Gotham with poisonous parade floats while listening to Prince... Oh no! Jack's Joker was over the top and felt more in line with Forever and B&R

I'll take Ledger's Joker any day of the week... GREAT performance. BUT, I don't feel that either of them got it exactly right (but that's not their fault as they were just doing the directors wanted). The Joker should be somewhere between the two extremes portrayed in '89 Batman and TDK.
Nicholson's Joker wasn't menacing enough. Ledger's Joker wasn't jokey enough. Although both portrayals fit very well in the particular "world" of their respective movie. Nolan was obviously going for a more gritty and realistic version than Burton was.
IMO the Arkham video games NAILED the Joker. That's exactly how the character should be.

I agree with this, but I also feel like Rocksteady has the luxury of being able to make the Joker in a video game. You can basically do what you want. They did do an excellent job of blending goofy/gag like devices with serious threats.

Catwoman has always been half and half in the comics in terms of good/bad.
