seems like the owner of eston's 1st is a little biased here
It has absolutely nothing to do with that. I feel eston's pick is going to be a lotto pick regardless of how this game plays out lol. This has been my stance on teams not fielding full rosters from day one.

I just want competitive leagues where obvious tanking OR neglect is not tolerated. A particular team getting a "bye week" is unfair to literally everyone else in the league. I mean if everyone else is cool with it, so be it.

Hammer is "in the playoff hunt" as you say, yet he has 3 totally free roster spots, is rostering a guy who isn't even on a team, and just generally makes no real moves as if he cares about winning.

We can put it to a vote but I'd be surprised if really anyone agrees with you. Other than probably Eston lol.

It's amazing to me you don't see why this is an issue.
I would be livid if I got bumped because another team was gifted a win.

like legit, count me out next year, kind of livid

That's what we've always done in the past but it's just tough to stay on top of every single roster every single week in both leagues. And frankly, we shouldn't have to babysit teams. There just needs to be actual repercussions for not starting a full lineup. At least on a 2nd+ offense.

Eston and Hammer are in a pretty close one and Hamm has three bye players in his lineup. If Eston wins I'd say it absolutely affected things. Hell the Titans D was good for 15 alone.
I’m saying go back and retroactively change lineups

Therein lies the problem. Because we can't just "pick and choose" when we care about tanking/neglect and when we do not. We either need to have ironclad rules in place against it, or it needs to be an anything goes wild west situation. And the latter sounds absolutely awful both from a perspective of league longevity as well as just overall fun.

I mean if someone is on a bye, or IR, then it absolutely needs changed.

i can say this because I had a last minute injury with Stafford, and that does not need to be changed

Totally agree.

And FTR, I'm not saying Hammer is purposely tanking. I'm sure something just came up or he forgot. I'm just saying this seems to be happening more and more in this league lately and I feel we need to nip it in the bud.

Bad intent or not, we need active owners. If you aren’t checking your lineup to fix BYES, something is wrong, cause you can fix that on day one of the season.

honestly, I’m fine docking picks, or lotto balls in the future

Eston is only a game back from playoffs coming into the week. Like Crow said, if I got bumped because someone got a free win I’d be pissed.

There are people we can find to be active owners. I like @The Hammer but if he’s not going to set his lineup every week then we need to find someone who will be more active. That goes for everyone. I know Fred has played someone on Bye/OUT in Beaver when he made changes in Goat. That shit ain’t cool.

Looks like it may work out in the long run.

Eston is just determined to be right about Josh Gordon and decided to play him against one of the best defenses in the league instead of playing Christian Kirk against the worst defense in the league.

Smooth, Eston.

Jesus guys

Also, fuck. Vondy is up by 0.05, which means I HAVE to play Sanders.

I've lost games like this before. I needed Fast Willie Parker to get like three points in the championship game once. He carried the ball one time against the Rams for -1 yard and broke his leg. Fuck that motherfucker.

edit: Oh, hey, it updated. RIP Vondy.
