What he's doing works. Print your resume on the executive assistant's desk by "accident" and leave it there, and you will get a raise. Because bottom line is if your indispensable, and if your boss thinks you leaving, it's worth it for him to give you a raise than try to replace you. Simple math. Salaries are pennies on the dollar to a company that will make the owner 2.6 billion dollars. Ownership should always remove salaries from the outcome equation. And the rest is easy. All that's left is playing football.

AJ is indispensable. He's one of the rare explosive WR's in the game. He will get paid.

No WR is indispensable. That's why two Super Bowl contenders just sold theirs to teams dumb enough to overpay.

And that's why two superbowl contenders will fail. Why do you want to lose over a few pennies on the dollar. You never get rid of your most valuable employees for an unknown and unproven commodity.

Who's the better contender: KC or the Dolphins? Are you willing to make a wager? Best record, perhaps?

and it isn't "a few pennies on the dollar?" A $20 million average is about 10% of the salary cap. Even if the cap increases 6% each year, in year five, that salary is still 8% of the cap. That's a large chunk for a position you need at least 3 of. We need a roster of 65 players, or whatever the new number is. The Titans are already in cap hell, and that's with bargain WR contracts.

I've already gone though this, so I'll spare the details, but bottom line is overpaid elite WRs don't win rings. It's probably the 5th MAYBE 4th most "valuable" position.

Unless you a have a stud rooking QB, paying one WR 8+% of the salary cap is poor business. Removing the player completely from the equation, it is bad business.

KC went from being a contender to just another playoff team. They put themselves in our boat. Which is dumb. When you have a superbowl window you don't start to shut it on yourself when it will put another billion in your pocket to leave it open.

So how much shall we bet? $20, $50, $100? I'll also do better record GB over Oakland, if you'd like.

There’s no super bowl window for the Titans with Tannehill as QB and Downing calling the plays.

We ain't keeping AJ. AJ offered 20 mil from titans and said we know you'll get more else where but here is what we're at. We obvs can't give anymore
