Many people on the left, including a certain fan of burning CVS stores, wish to project their own version of what is happening here rather than what the order really states. In the end though, by overreacting, again, to Trump they only shoot themselves in the foot when the truth comes out.
Here is the "Inconvenient truth" for the anti-Trump crowd:
- The ban is not permanent
- It is a temporary ban so that the US can take time to make sure a proper vetting system is in place and not end up like Europe where terrorists are getting in with the refugees
- This ban does not result in refugees going back to the conflict zones they are fleeing. Instead it means they languish in refugee camps a little longer. Not good, but far from what they are fleeing
