Pretty muchPanic, chaos and anarchy. :banjump:
So, let's say we finally manage to control or stop the spread... then what?
A vaccine is probably a year away.
So, between these times - no more spread and a "cure" - what's the "plan"?
people eat up those gov't checks like candy and businesses are still shut down and people are now more dependent than ever on uncle sam
companies that didn't plan for literally anything will want bailouts, so asking for taxpayer money aka the people they fired, to keep them afloat
there will probably be some knee jerk legislation written that constricts our rights in order to prevent such "catastrophe" again
still waiting on the Cali governor to follow through on his martial law threat
as for a "vaccine", i wouldn't rely on that.. they can't prevent the common cold with their vaccines, not sure why you'd trust one they develop for something with the same symptoms

I mentioned the 3 shells in SB the other day but I don’t think anyone got the reference. Is this the point in Demolition Man’s timeline when the people started using the three seashells? The great toilet paper shortage of 2020?
It was just better when I did it.I mentioned the 3 shells in SB the other day but I don’t think anyone got the reference.

Texas Precious Metals has stock... but unless they changed their rules they are not shipping just storing.@GoT

i don't think it's a good time to buy lol
that site also has basically zero bars in stock.. just coins now..
But it is metal
Looks like the virus has mutated into a stronger stogner version, now immune to cleanliness and grain alcohol
How does the new coronavirus compare with the flu? | Live Science
This is worth reading to get things in perspective. Some hope that geographic and demographic considerations for policy restriction will be utilized in a week or two.

Apparently Nashville has 200+ cases.. I remember seeing a tweet a while back how they were bragging about still having a concert downtown and the virus wasn't gonna stop them
hopefully those fools learned their lesson
how hard is it to not be a complete fucking idiot redneck for a month?

Well looks like Prince Charles now has corona. Karl Anthony Towns the Center for the Twolves, his mom has it and had to be put into a medically forced coma cause her lungs kept collapsing and the fever would never break. Just wanted to add these names to the Corona book as ppl think they are untouchable and wont get it.
ahahahahaha
I think we all get a free pass to not feel bad for this guy.

While numbers are still increasing, I just wanted to post the current stats of global and US numbers.
Currently in the US, appx 5000 out of 1Million contract the virus. 2 per 1 million unfortunately pass away.
totally get the quarantines I hope the mathematicians can figure out when that is no longer necessary but with these kind of numbers, it feels like we gone overkill on a lot of mitigating policies. I could see the foreign travel and cruise lines but the general travel seems excessive.
by the time this is all over and done with, there will only he a lot of hypothetical arguments about what was or was not necessary and the actual numbers vs potential numbers.

This only panders to the mass hysteria. Having a “famous person” get it changes nothing nor should it.
Just like every other disease out there, including much more deadly diseases, i hope the best, but life has to continue with known risks. Take care of yourself, help police people you catch not washing their hands and force people that have symptoms (of any illness, not just corona) to stay away from anything that promotes spreading and to seek medical attention.
I think America cares? Just like how we forgot how fragile life is until Kobe Bryant died. Its weird how normal ppl live life with no regards until celebrities die or get sick and then everything goes into focus. U may not be that way but a high % of Americans do for whatever reasonWho cares?

this virus is not just like every other disease, it spreads extremely easily and is undetectable for up to 14 days. if we just all go back to work and let people get over it potentially millions could die.Just like every other disease out there, including much more deadly diseases, i hope the best, but life has to continue with known risks. simply washing your hands and social distancing isnt enough, thats exactly how we got to this point and we are just ramping up.
I guess a high % of Americans are dumb.I think America cares? Just like how we forgot how fragile life is until Kobe Bryant died. I get losing beloved figures, death is a shame, but if there life is altered by freak accidents or illnesses they were already doing their part to avoid/prevent spreading, then a celebrity death should have no real bearing.
If anything, I would say that the death isn’t what motivates people to change, it’s much more on the positive influence while alive.
I seriously doubt anyone changed the way they handle this entire situation based on knowing Tom Hanks was quarantined for it. it just gives people crap to talk about and post memes.
