I don't get the Kelly love. It's not like he was a hall of famer or anything. Average swing tackle who should've never been asked to start. We are still trying to fill the right tackle spot but he should be an after thought at this point. At least if he starts in Indy, they have a weakness we can exploit
You say that so easily… but of our STs sucked then you would be wearing JRob out for ignoring it. He didn’t overspend on backups. Depth He signed backups. They don’t just play special teams. You can’t ignore special teams.
Only move I was heated over by Jrob was Conk. Understand the thought, but I didn’t like it. Then we brought in Vagisil correspondent Beasless, and Clowney who played like he was rushing the sidelines… not enough TUMS for that debacle!
I'm not saying ignore STs...don't over spend...OL depth is important as well isn't it? How times was Tannehill sacked last season? I'd say that's an important factor...Kelly was decent when he was here, seems like a logical inexpensive move

There are a ton of Dennis Kelly’s out there.
They have spent $6 million on ST and that’s 17th in the NFL. It’s in line with other successful teams.
We have OL 14 players under contract at $31 million. How much more depth do we need?
Tim Kelly is his brother. If he was still any good don’t you think he would be here?
Not sure Kelly was the answer, but unfortunately, of the 14 OL under contract, I’m not sure there are 5 starting caliber ones. This really is an area that management struggles to get right. The other area is WR.
