But do he play OL? No he do not.He returned punts as well I just read
The JROB checklist:Who?
DB turned WR
Nobody heard of him - check
Position not needed - half check
Coming off major injury -
Former Texan or Patriot -
please add to the list if I’m missing anything.
Bills may be looking for a punter as well
Bills rookie punter Matt Araiza accused in civil lawsuit of participating in gang rape of minor
Two days ago the Colts signed the veteran punter Haack, who Araiza beat out in Buffalo. He was cut a few days prior to signing with the Colts. Doesn’t mean they still won’t be interested in Stonehouse, but I’m curious to see what direction we go here.
Aged vet who can pin the opposition inside their own 10 consistently or the rookie who can easily flip the field when we’re backed up? In a perfect world we can sneak Stonehouse onto the PS, but it may not be worth the risk with Kerns injuries and drop off recently.
Moving on from Kern would free up 2.2 in cap space.

Big decision to make on this. I'd honestly just keep both Punters. Stonehouse going to be a major weapon when his time approaches.
Under almost no condition would I ever recommend keeping 2 P, until I saw what stonehouse is capable of and know what Kern is capable of.Big decision to make on this. I'd honestly just keep both Punters. Stonehouse going to be a major weapon when his time approaches.

Am I making this up or did a handful of teams roster two kickers like 15-20 years ago? Place kicker and kickoff specialist. Kerns your punter around midfield and Stonehouse booming them when we’re deep in our territory.
I like the rookies potential, but we can’t swing two punters on the 53. Maybe he makes the initial 53, let other teams fill their practice squads and make any additional moves. Then possibly we manage getting him to the PS.

I'm with you. Guess they can be our version of Thunder and Lightning. I just don't want to lose Stonehouse and then watch Kern go on a major dip.
Just feel like we got to go with 10+ years as opposed to a year or 2 left in him.

If I'm Vrabel and Co, I'm telling Stonehouse to shank every punt tomorrow
I think there's 3 or 4 teams that are looking for a Punter, therefore I highly doubt that we can sneak him on the PS.
Either way, I guess we can't go wrong.

Didn't we have Succop and Santosa at the same time not too long ago?

Yeah okay so I just made up the 20 years ago part :homer:
Ugh, yes.Didn't we have Succop and Santosa at the same time not too long ago?
santosa was supposed to be a KO “specialist” did KO for 1 horrible game that whoever we were against had better field position than almost any other game that year.
Certainly had me confused as to what his KO specialty was.
Some did back in the day when the active roster was 60. Most teams kept 3 QBs then too.Am I making this up or did a handful of teams roster two kickers like 15-20 years ago? You know your a Titans fan when gushing over punters. That being said this is a hard choice. With Stonehouse we have our punter of the future for 10+ years and with Kern we have the goat god punter, the best who's ever done it. In the end there will be only two punters in the HOF and Kerns one of them, JRob has got to just keep 2 punters on the 53.
WR Mims requests trade...he hasn't done anything in NY...he would come cheap
Former second-round pick Denzel Mims requests trade from Jets
We have enough guys who haven't done anything
He's still an upgrade over Fitzpatrick and possibly NIck Westbrook ilkineWe have enough guys who haven't done anything

That's like being the smartest kid with down syndrome, even if it is true, which I doubt.
I'd take him. I doubt the Jets trade him though. If they do, it won't be cheap. Damn, the Jets on paper have a legit WR room.We have enough guys who haven't done anything
More realistically, if we're grabbing a WR from NY, I have my eye on Darius Slayton.
